Capital Matters is a valuable market resource open to a limited number of qualified funds and angels in Silicon Valley. This program offers investors the opportunity to receive monthly deal flow reports and quarterly industry reports on emerging technology companies seeking Seed to Series A capital. The benefits of membership are provided below along with sample reports.

How it works:

• Each month member funds receive a list of reviewed deals from Financing Partners that have been analyzed by fellow Silicon Valley VCs and industry experts. Typically we review around 30 qualified deals each month and gather a minimum of five reviews per deal. A qualified deal for Financing Partners is defined as a Seed or Series A deal that is based in Silicon Valley and focused on solving a real problem.

• Our monthly data comparison sheet enables members to see the top deals reviewed each month by industry, with general ranking information and background details on the deal. For a sample report, please click here.

• Members may request specific review sheets on up to four deals each month that you’re interested in learning more about. Our review sheets include specific comments, questions, concerns and interest from our Prescreen Committee. Please click here for an example of a review sheet.

• Each quarter, members receive a detailed analysis on up to two specific industries of focus (click here for an example report). Financing Partners currently supports the following industries: Software, Communications, Web Services, Software and LS/Biotech.

  This report offers statistical feedback and analysis on how we’ve seen the industry fair over the last three months and highlights the top deals by industry over the last quarter.

• One member from each fund receives a complimentary pass to our monthly Investor Symposiums. Click here for our 2008 calendar of events. Our investor symposiums are closed events that are open only to our investor network and members. These forums enable members to meet with three deals each month in a closed group session.

• Members may also request analysis on any deal currently in consideration by their fund or check with us for feedback on past reviewed deals.

Capital Matters assists Silicon Valley investors in locating attractive deals relevant to their fund’s focus while gathering important market analysis on technology industries at large. Membership to our Silicon Valley Deal Flow Analysis is limited to 15 funds each year.
