Financing Partners' Deal Symposium introduces investors to pre-screened opportunities within specific industry sectors. Each submitted deal is carefully reviewed by our Deal Review Committee to ensure that the technology presents a strong opportunity for today's investor. Currently, Financing Partners focuses on Seed and Series A opportunities within the Enterprise Software, Communications, Internet and Semiconductor industries. Each month, investors are invited to attend our Deal Symposium to evaluate and consider the top deals reviewed by Financing Partners professional staff and affiliated venture capitalists.

	Each company submission is reviewed by Financing Partners on a number of critical factors, including technology, market opportunity, team, and more. Those companies that appear to offer a unique solution to a real problem, with sustainable barriers to entry, and an excellent team, are invited to present their opportunity to investors at the next appropriate Deal Symposium.

	The symposium is a closed event open only to invited companies and active investors. The presenting companies are allotted a 25-minute time slot to present to the attending investors; the first 15-minutes are for the company's prepared presentation and the last 10-minutes are held for Q&A. Attending investors are asked to provide feedback on each of the deals so that the presenting companies can further refine their pitch and better understand their target audience.

	Participating members of Financing Partners investment community receive full access to the summary information of each presented deal along with an overview of how each deal was received by the attending investors. Financing Partners provides each investor with a contact list of all attendees so as to encourage follow up opportunities and due-diligence support within the group. During the last half of 2006, an average of one in three deals received funding by presenting at our monthly Investor Deal Symposium.
